Hi. Lenvica HRMS payroll software allows you to process the salary any number of times. This allows you to review and correct the values and to mark each payslip as verified. It is possible to close the salary period to finalise the changes and reopen it if necessary, to make changes.
Lenvica HRMS also allows flexible salary periods such as weekly, bi-weekly, monthy etc. It also supports multiple currencies. It has formula editor which allows you to set formula for salary heads just like in an excel sheet. The amount of customisation required in this software is very minimal, when compared to other payroll software. Settings are available to customise reports and payslips. The payroll software is extremely flexible and user friendly.

Hi Paul, MSSQL is not required for Lenvica HRMS Time Attendance software. Our time attendance software uses Firebird database server which is an open source software which is available for free. Hi Madhu, After processing the salary, you need to verify the salary data to make sure they are perfect. Once you have completed all corrections and reprocess the salary. You have to close the salary period. As soon as you close the salary period, it means that no more corrections will be made and the payslips will be published. To make the payslips available immediately after salary processing, please verify salary data and close the period at the earliest.

Kerala professional tax assessment is done by the concerned municipal authority on a half-yearly basis. The profession tax for the first half i.e. from April to September of the year should be paid by end of August 31 and for the second half which is from October to March, the profession tax should be paid before the end of February. But your company has chosen to deduct the professional tax evenly from you by deducting Rs.300 every month. There are 2 types of Profession Tax payers
a) Profession Tax Enrollment Certificate (PTEC) : Any person engaged in Profession,
Trade and Callings and falling under one or the other of the classes mentioned in the
second column of Schedule I shall obtained PTEC
b) Profession Tax Registration Certificate (PTRC) : Every employer who has
employed even a single employee whose salary is above the prescribed limit for
deducting Profession Tax shall obtain PTRC.Your type is PTEC.

Please check the settings in Attendance module > Attendance Import Settings > Select your Employee Gang. In the General box, you may find that ‘Consider only first and last entries for work hours’ is selected. This is the default setting. If you want to see the breaks, you have to select the option ‘Consider all entries for work hours’.
Once you save the change, it will be effective from the next Attendance Import. Please refer to the following link for more details about Attendance Import Settings:
To apply the changes to the past days, you can do the attendance import from Attendance module > Attendance Import.

It is not required to import the previous years salary values to calculate bonus. If you have already processed the salary for the previous year, then the values are already available and the cumulative of all the months included in the bonus period is available.
