Hi,

Is there a shift management module in the Lenvica HRMS time attendance software?

In our firm, a production unit which runs 24X7, there are many shifts and they are rotating too. Work shifts change every week for all the staff in the production unit. Work supervisors are currently are currently emailing the work plan of staff a week in advance. We feed it directly into the software, It’s time taking and are prone to errors. Is there an alternative to update shifts of employees in the software? .

Yes, there are options to update the work shfts of employees other than manually entering it into the time attendance software. Please review the video links to learn different methods to update work shifts in the time attendance software.

Hello there. Our office has only day shift with a one hour break. I have created the day shift and assigned it to our locations. I am also getting the attendance reports. But the attendance is not showing the breaks for employees who punch out. It only shows one work time. How can I see the out times of the employees who goes out of office for breaks and also during normal working hours.

Hi Antonio,

Please check the settings in Attendance module > Attendance Import Settings > Select your Employee Gang. In the General box, you may find that ‘Consider only first and last entries for work hours’ is selected. This is the default setting. If you want to see the breaks, you have to select the option ‘Consider all entries for work hours’.

Once you save the change, it will be effective from the next Attendance Import. Please refer to the following link for more details about Attendance Import Settings:

To apply the changes to the past days, you can do the attendance import from Attendance module > Attendance Import.

Hello,

We are running the production department with large number of employees. They follow rotational shifts. Each production batch supervisor submits the roster of staffs reporting to them in excel to HR executives at least two days prior to the week start. It is then imported to the roster into attendhrm shift management software.

Due to various reasons, both official and personal, employees happen to change the shifts after getting approval from the supervisors. It happens quite a lot in our company. Hence it becomes the duty of HR to again correct the shifts assigned in attendhrm shift management software as and when the supervisor informs this. It is hard for the HR staff to keep track of this and keep updating the roster! Is there any work around in software so that the supervisors themselves can handle this?

Hello Tom,

Yes, you can handle this situation using a feature called ‘Shift Planner’ in Lenvica HRMS Employee Self Service. Assign ESS(Employee Self Service) rights to the supervisors in Lenvica HRMS Shift Management and they will have the option to assign or change shifts of their subordinates through Employee Self Service.

Is there any option in Lenvica HRMS payroll software to check, if sufficient employees are scheduled for each shift in a day? Is there a limit in how far in advance I can schedule in Lenvica HRMS shift management software?

Lenvica HRMS Shift Management Software displays all the details of employees scheduled for each shift. Lenvica HRMS has another module named MIS, Management Information System is very useful for the top management. MIS module displays all the shifts scheduled, with details of each shift including the number of employees planned, the number of employees available, and so on.

And Lenvica HRMS Shift Management Software uses a perpetual calendar for shift assignments so there is no limit and you can schedule as far into the future as you need. Lenvica HRMS keeps all details on shifts and employee schedules!
