in reply to: Salary Calculator.. #19691
Hi Khalid,
If you can make the calculations in excel, you can do the same in Lenvica HRMS also.
Can you forward the excel sheet so that we can understand better.
There is no need to define salary structure for each employee. Only one salary structure is usually required.

Bijuin reply to: Salary Calculator.. #19689Hi Khalid,
You can create multiple Salary Groups to calculate salary. Each group allows you to define custom salary break-ups.
Please refer the videos below for details.

in reply to: Salary isn’t calculated according to attendance.. #20009Hi,
We can't automate that actually, because of the following reasons:
1. Not all salary heads are calculated the same way
2. Not all customers have the same requirement
3. We wanted to keep it as simple and flexible as excel, but yet powerful.Yes, this is possible.
The second video in the link below should help you with this.

Bijuin reply to: Salary isn’t calculated according to attendance.. #20007Hi Khalid,
Defining salary formula is as simple as in Excel. So, you need to specify how exactly you want the salary to be calculated.
The WYSIWYG(What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) Formula editor enables you to specify the formula according to your requirement.
When you make a salary group, if you want to pay Rs. 5000 as Basic Pay. All you have to do is specify Basic Pay as a Fixed Value.
But as you mentioned, you want to calculate Basic Pay according to the number of days worked.
So, you need to define the formula, as below:
Basic Pay = [Value]/[Days In Period]* [Days Worked]Where [Value] is the figure you defined with Basic Pay
[Days In Period] is the Number of days in your salary period.
[Days Worked] is the Number of days worked as per the attendance module. The second video in the link below should help you with this.

BijuHi Khalid,
A notification window pops up as you start Lenvica HRMS. It has notifications like employee birthdays. That's the one you are talking about, right?
Now, what change do you want to make?
Please explain.
Thanks,

Bijuin reply to: Auto increment employee id with prefix or suffix #19674Hi,
We have difficulty in implementing this request. We will consider this request in the future.
For now, I'm suggesting a workaround for you.
Using Employee Import Facility, you can import employees from an excel sheet. With excel it's easy for you to calculate Employee Numbers as described in your post. The video in the link below has details on how to import employees in bulk.
http://lenvica.in/how-to-import-employees-from-a-file/So, if you keep an excel file for employee import, then you can update the file and import it to Lenvica HRMS when you want to add new employees.
Hope this helps!
