    Hi Bobby,

Unavailability of firebird server or stopped status of firebird service could be the reason for this problem.

Please restart firebird service and try.
    Location: Start > Run > services.msc
    Or
Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

If you are not able to find firebird service in services list then you need to install firebird server. You can download a firebird server set up file from the link below,
    http://lenvica.in/downloads/Firebird-2.5.2.exe

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Rijo

    Hi,

Hope you have registered RFID cards with a number for each employee in the device. You need to fill that number against each employee in 'Employee' module as 'Badge Number'. Location: Employee > Employee > Employment > Badge Number.

Do a refresh on 'Lenvica HRMS Communicator'. You can find the icon for Communicator in the windows task bar. In case the Communicator is not found in the taskbar, you can start it by opening AttendCommunicator.exe(Location: Lenvica HRMS Installation Folder > Bin > AttendCommunicator)

Check the communicator history to ensure the device is communicating properly with the software.
Location: Time Registration > Communicator History

For punching details, go to Time Registration > Time Registration Reports > Raw Punch

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Rijo

    Hi Lopez,

No. Lenvica HRMS is not capable to download RFID registrations from virdi devices. You can get the punch details and thereby it is possible to the track  employee's Late in, Early out, Overtime etc through attendance module.

Let us know if you require any further assistance.

    Thanks,
    Rijo

    Hi Lopez,

No other software installation is required. Hope you have placed the dll files in 'Windows\System32\' and restarted the computer.

Ensure that the fields 'Terminal Id' and 'Client Id' of the software (Time Registration > Devices) should be filled and it should same as in the device.

Please let us know the model number of the device.

    Thanks,
    Rijo

    Hello Bobby,

Yes, Lenvica HRMS is capable to generate PF Online submission document. You can find it in Salary module’s report segment.

Salary > Salary Reports > PF Online submission document.

You may need to install the latest update, if it’s not showing in report segment. You can download the latest update from the link given below,
    http://updates.lenvica.in/AttendHRM_Update_3.4.16.exe

A sample PF Online submission document generated from Lenvica HRMS is attached.

    Hope this will help!

    Hi Bobby,

I think, you may not be using the system defined salary heads (Basic Pay, HRA etc) in the salary group. May be you have created your own salary heads like ‘Basic Salary’ for salary processing. Exemptions will not calculate properly, if you are not using these systems defined salary heads.

You need to use system defined salary heads or required to install the latest update as its providing a facility to map the user defined salary heads with system defined salary heads, to resolve this problem. You can download the latest update from the link below.
    http://updates.lenvica.in/AttendHRM_TDS_Update_3.6.14.exe

    Hope this will help!

    Hi Bobby,

As per the income tax rule,
    1. Total of HRA
    2. Rent – 10% of (Basic Pay + DA + Commission)
    3. 40% of (Basic Pay + DA + Commission) (50% in case of Metropolitan City)

HRA Exemption = Minimum of the three.

Lenvica HRMS is working based on the above rule. So please check the above points let us know if you have any queries.

    Thanks,
    Rijo

    Hi Bobby,

Date format of Lenvica HRMS is depends upon the computer’s date format. So you need to change date format of the computer in which Lenvica HRMS is installed.

Date format changing in windows XP,
Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Customize > Date

Restart Lenvica HRMS after the date format changing, to take effect the changes.

    Hope this will help.

You can define formula for employer and employee PF contributions. Explained below:

    Defining Employer PF Contribution
    1. Go to Salary > Provident Fund
    2. Configure the formula for PF Wages.
Refer screenshot – Employer PF Contribution for details.

    Defining Employee PF Contribution
    1. Add salary head 'Provident Fund' to your salary group.
    2. Configure formula for PF Contribution
    E.g.: 12% of 6500 or Basic Pay whichever is lower = (Min({Basic Pay}, 6500))*12/100
Refer screenshot – Employee PF Contribution for details

    Employee PF Configuration
    1. Go to Salary > Employee Provident Fund to add required PF details.
Refer screenshot – Employee PF Configuration for details

    Dear Bobby,

Option 1: Check the file 'ReportMan.ocx' is available at location "C:\Program Files\Lenvica HRMS\Bin". If it doesn't exist, please run the Lenvica HRMS setup or update with administrative privileges.

This should solve the issue. Ensure that you have admin privileges when you run the setup or update.

Option 2: If the files 'ReportMan.ocx' was already available, we need to register as below.

Go to Start –> All Programs –> Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run
as Administrator and execute the below command,
    regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Lenvica HRMS\Bin\ReportMan.ocx"

    This should solve the issue.

    Hi,

ESI is not applicable to employees with total earnings more than 15000.

But there is an exemption to this rule:

There two ESI contribution periods: April to September and October to March.

And as per the rule, even if the employee crosses the limit of 15000, he will continue to pay ESI as long as he is within a contribution period.

    Rule says:
"Provided that an employee whose wages (excluding remuneration for overtime work) exceed [such wages as may be prescribed by the Central Government] at any time after (and not before) the beginning of the contribution period, shall continue to be an employee until the end of that period ;]"

You can refer the act in the link below:
    http://esic.nic.in/act.htm

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Bobby,

You can manage this requirement by enabling a setting in leave module.

Go to Leave module > Leave settings > General

Mark the setting "Remove overlapping Work time entries while approving leave" and save.

    Hope this will help.

    Hi Anthony,

Payroll module of Lenvica HRMS is capable of processing Botswana taxation. And of course the reports for Form ITW8(Revised 2005) and Form ITW 10A can be generated. Please find the attached sample reports of the same.

    Regards,
    Rijo
