    Hi Alex,

Please follow the steps given below.

    Exit from Lenvica HRMS
    i) Open task Manager
ii) Close all attend.exe programs from Processes.
iii) Go to RUN. Type "services.msc" and enter
iv) From the processes listed close the process Firebird Guardian.
    v) Secondly Close the Process Lenvica HRMS Controller.
Note: Controller may show a status of "stopping". In such cases restart your PC. Once PC reopens go to RUN. Type "services.msc" and enter. From the processes listed close the process Firebird Guardian. Then close the Process Lenvica HRMS Controller.Make sure the process Lenvica HRMS Controller is not running.
    vi) Restart Firebird Guardian Process.
You will now notice that Attend Communicator is running from the taskbar.

You can now refresh the communicator and see the communicator history.

It will show the current date and time and the number of records read.

Hope this will solve your issue.

in reply to: Employee Import #20319

Lenvica HRMS communicates with the device on the basis of BADGE NUMBER i.e. the employee registered on the device has a code. This code is entered while registering an employee on the device. This code is entered in the BADGE NUMBER field while registering an employee in Lenvica HRMS.
You do not have to enter the details of the employees manualy in Lenvica HRMS. There is a an option to import the details of the employee.
For importing please fill in the details in the format (.csv) in the file attached herewith.
Then go to the import Tab in the Employee module and import.

The attendance can be imported from the excel sheet by following the said procedure.

Save the excel sheet in .csv (MS DOS) format
Select the devices module in the Time registration.
Then ad Device as CSV with IN/OUT.
Then add the path of the file (.csv format) in the Import file
    Then save the settings.
    After that refresh the communicator.
The data must have been imported to the Attendance module.
Go to the Attendance and check.
If the attendance data is not there in the Attendance module.
Please Clear Data and Import Data. Close all the windows and check the Attendance  again.
Whoops the attendance data will be there.

Please find the sample format of the excel file

It is not compatible directly but we connect via its database file which is stored in .mdb format.
In the time registration module go to the Device module and select device as Anviz DB from the drop down box. Then check the Enabled and Is Attendance Device. After that select Punch Type as IN / OUT and Location ID as LOCAL.
Then choose the Database file i.e. specify the path where the .mdb file is located. Then save the settings.
You can now refresh the communicator and see the Communicator history.
It will show as connected and you can see the raw punch details in the Time registration report.
You can import the same to the Attendance module by Clear Data and then Import Data.
Hope this solve your connectivity issue.

in reply to: Rotating Shift #20116

A rotating shift schedule is a job schedule in which employees work one set of hours for a period and then rotate to a different set of hours. Rotating shift schedules typically divide the work day into three 8-hour periods.

A standard shift schedule involves three work shifts: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 to 11 p.m., and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. This schedule allows facilities to remain open around the clock. With a rotating shift schedule, each employee would work one shift for a certain number of weeks and then move onto a different shift. The shifts rotate at regular intervals so that each employee works each shift for the same amount of time.

We can schedule rotating shift in Lenvica HRMS. This can be done by going to the Roster module then create a Shift Day programme according to the timing. After that we have to create a Shift pattern i.e how many batches are there and how frequently does the shift change. After that we simply have to assign this Shift Pattern in the Shift Planner module (department wise or location wise).

I hope that I could answer your query

Software as a service (or SaaS) is a way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a service. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you simply access it via the Internet, freeing yourself from complex software and hardware management.

    Hi Bobby,
People are one of the critical success factors of a business. Unauthorized absenteeism, lack of proper time/holiday planning, fall in productive hours etc. affect the overall efficiency of the organization.
In few organizations these are some common scenarios:

Staff not available at work because he is on leave and manager is not aware of this
Cashier extended leave without prior approval
Delayed service when Support Engineers went on unplanned leave
Employees have taken more leave than they are eligible
Leave policies of the organization are not being uniformly applied to all employees
Only a few people inform HR that they are on Leave and so their Leave Balance shows a higher number
Employee Leave balance is not correct and this has caused big dis-satisfaction

This unexpected behavior from employees can be costly for any business as this can lead to missing deadlines, unmanned counters, poor customer service, delayed billing, cancellation of orders, non-achieving targets, loss of goodwill etc.

A number of the above issues can be addressed by better planning. If an employee can plan his leave in advance, let the other stake-holders know about it then the entire team where the employee works are geared up to deal with the absence of the employee from work.

Also, uniform application of Leave policies, accurately tracking balances, etc, leads to greater employee satisfaction and enables organizations to engage employees better.

One of the common reasons for the planning to not happen is the lack of a easy way to do this. Typically employees would need to write a Leave letter / mail, wait for the Boss approval, then give it to HR. HR would then need to manually verify if all policies are adhered to, if balances are available, etc. The data would then be updated into an Excel file. With HR people also changing, the confidence on the origins of this Excel file and its current contents is not high.

But there are easy and simple ways in which this issue can be addressed. A good Leave Management software can help address almost all of these issues. A good solution to automate leave and attendance process

Helps the user to apply for leave, view balance and track entire leave transactions from a single point.
All applicable Leave policies can be verified at the time of application
Managers can get email alerts and review the Leaves at a convenient time and not be forced to act on it when the employee is standing in front of him.
A single review here will ensure
Accurate leave transactions and balances are updated, real time.
HR no longer needs to maintain Leave Cards and Leave records in Excel.

Implementing a good automation solution will ensure that employees enable their organizations to plan their leaves better. This helps significantly reduce work disruptions and at the same time reduce the time and effort spent by HR on maintaining accurate Leave records.

    Hi Bobby,
There is no need to install any program to register the finger prints on the device. Just go to the menu of the device and you have the option to register the finger prints
