I'm an HR professional. We are now implementing the human resource management software to fully automate the office processes. I came across the employee self service module. My question is why should I use employee self service when we are already using the Human Resource software Lenvica HRMS.

Like mentioned earlier employee self service Lenvica HRMS is a web based application that allows employees to verify, change/update their personal information; address, qualification, contact, emergency contact address, blood group etc. and employees can view their monthly payslips through this, all relevant information about leaves including the ones they have taken and also ones they are yet to take or applied for can be viewed through employee self service.
In simple words employee self service is a window provided to the repository of information both personal and official, however the repository said here is Lenvica HRMS which is the Human Resource Management Software.
The Lenvica HRMS stores and process the data in it fed by the HR employees and delivers payroll, manages leave, e-mail/SMS notifications and various other functions but it is impractical for all employees to access the Lenvica HRMS which contains vital and confidential information regarding the firm. On the other hand it is very impractical for the HR department officials to answer to all the queries that employees come up with.
Employee Self Service Lenvica HRMS is an effective and practical solution for this issue. Employee Self Service helps employee view information regarding that employee alone. Each employee will be provided with separate login information with which he/she can enter the Employee Self Service portal of his company. Employees can view or apply for changes in employee self service only to those data regarding them alone. An employee won't be able to access or view information of other employees.
