Failed DLL registration during installation – ZKemKeeper.dll

Hi,

I was installing your software running the setup file received on my email. It gives me an error which reads ‘fail to register zkemkeeper.dll’. I was given options to ignore, and abort. However, I have been able to complete the installation and access the software without any issues. Does this error concern to me in anyway as I work on the software?

Hi,

The file that failed to register is one which is required for a successful connection with the bio-metric machine of the ZKTeco brand. However, it won’t concern you if you ignore it and proceed to complete the installation. We can register it separately using the command prompt once the installation is complete. The registration may have failed in the first place because it may not have had user rights. You can try running the setup as an administrator.
