DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005

Hi,

I've an access control device from ZK Software, and I just updated the SDK to work with Lenvica HRMS.

But when I try to register the SDK, I get the error "DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005".

For this reason, Lenvica HRMS is not able to communicate with my device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Josh,

From the error code it looks like a permission issue. Just try the following, and it should work.

1. Goto Start and type CMD
2. Now, cmd.exe will be listed. Just right click on 'cmd.exe' and choose 'Run as Administrator'
3. Now, try to register the dll again with CMD. (RegSvr32 zkemkeeper.dll)
4. You should get a message that the registration is done.

Lenvica HRMS is now communicating with my ZK device.
