      Hi Bobby,

You can import attendance data from excel sheet to Lenvica HRMS.

      Location: Time Registration > Device

Add new device with device selection as ‘CSV with IN/OUT’. See the screenshot attached.

You can download a sample excel import sheet from the link below,
      http://lenvica.in/downloads/Attendance%20Import%20Template.csv

      Hope this helps.

      Regards,

      Rijo

      Hi,

What to do after the browsing of excel file? Is there any button or something to initiate the communication with the excel file?

      Regards,

      Nithin

      Hi,

How can I come to know whether the data has imported or not? Where can I see the imported punch details?

      Regards,
      Bobby

      Hi Bobby,

You can see the communication status in 'Communicator History'.
Location: Time Registration > Communicator History

You can view the punch details from Raw Punch report.
Location: Time Registration > Time Registration Reports > Raw Punch

      Regards,
      Rijo

      Some points to be noted

1- check weather the date format of your excel file is exactly same as that of the software. If not we have to check the date format of the entire column and match it with the date format of the software and the server or remote PC in which the database file is kept.

2- check weather while importing, the file is been opened or not. If it is opened try an import after closing the file which is minimized in the taskbar

3- ensure that the file format which is saved is a .csv file

4- try matching proper fields you want in the software to the fields in the excel file
