Unable to Delete Department Name

Hey Lenvica,

A quickie for you.

While importing new employees via Excel I gave in different department names to the ones already in the system. Due to which there is repeatation of Department twice now.

When I delete the duplicate name an error comes up as "Unable to delete, data is already being used in 'Department'".

But I removed the duplicate name from  all employees and yet this error message comes.

Please guide me on what I should do now.

Hey Ken,

I get you issue. The Reason you are unable to delete the department is because the same is associated to a location.

1) Double click on the department Name from Employer->Department.
2) Remove all locations from Related Locations Back to Available Locations and save.

Now you can delete that department.
