Is Lenvica HRMS Time Attendance Software compatible with ZKTeco’s WDMS?

I was reviewing whether your time attendance software could meet to our requirements. The software and its features are quite impressive. We have many locations pan India. All our locations are equipped with bio-metric machines to capture the clock in and clock out time of our staff. Using ZKTeco WDMS, we have managed to connect all the devices and centralise the time attendance of our staff. However, we are now in search for a software that could do further than the current one, which only gives us raw data of our employees’ time attendance entries. On reviewing your software, we found that it actually does what we were looking for. Raw data captured is presented visually in your attendance screen of each employee which actually is very helpful. Further, we found many statutory reports also in Lenvica HRMS time attendance. Unlike our current software, we need not manually deduce the work time, overtime, late-in, early out etc of employees based on their clock-in and clock-out of our employees. However, we have a concern which is whether the Lenvica HRMS time attendance software is compatible with ZKTeco WDMS. We use a purchased version of ZKTeco WDMS and it took us quite sometime to configure all the devices and bring it live. We are least interested to replace ZKTeco WDMS. So, is it possible to integrate ZKTeco WDMS to your software? Is it customisation or not?

Yes, Lenvica HRMS time attendance software is compatible with ZKTeco WDmS software.

As you have mentioned, the time attendance software can connect with ZKTeco devices through WDMS itself and provide to you attendance reports, attendance screen of employees etc.

The procedure to integrate Lenvica HRMS time attendance software is same as adding a new device directly to Lenvica HRMS except that the field called ‘Device’ must be chosen as ‘ZKTeco Push’ and a few other fields must be provided as shown in the image below.

The connection string will open a small window where the fields must be given as below.

Once the configuration is complete, Lenvica HRMS time attendance software will start fetching the details from ZKTeco WDMS software and will update the attendance of your staff spread across various offices in India.

Is there any way for us to know whether the zkteco device with us is compatible with zkteco WDMS? If it’s compatible, what changes have to be done to enable zkteco WDMS in the device?

Hello Hilari,

In the device ‘Comm’ menu you need to look for ADMS/Web Setup. If it has this option in you ZKTeco device, it is compatible with ZKTeco WDMS. If you want to use WDMS, you have to enter the server details in this setup. This include ZKTeco WDMS server IP Address and Port number.

We have been using Lenvica HRMS time attendance software for more than 6 years now. Initially, we had only one office and the ZKTeco biometric devices were connected to Lenvica HRMS time attendance software using the local IP addresses. It was only a year back, we shifted our factory to a remote area, which is around 80 km away from our old office. We were not able to get a static IP or configure DNS. We had near to 23 devices at the new factory. We acquired static IP for our head office and with the help of staff from the Lenvica HRMS support team, we configured WDMS in all the biometric devices at the factory and added those devices in Lenvica HRMS as ZKTeco push devices. This resolved our problem. We are now getting the attendance of our factory here at our old office which is now the corporate office. This works smoothly. Using static IP for connecting remote devices is costly. If your device supports PUSH technology, it is better to install WDMS server. You can configure the cloud server details in ADMS setting in the time attendance device. So even if the device IP changes, it is not a problem, the data is pushed from the device to the WDMS server. We can then add the WDMS as a device in Lenvica HRMS. WDMS has all kinds of location and time based Access Control settings and Lenvica HRMS has the Attendance reports and also Payroll module to process Salary based on the attendance.
