Hi,
Lenvica HRMS payroll software helps us capture attendance, process payroll along with income tax deductions and also we are using employee self service. It’s been almost 2 years since we have been using it now. Our employees are quite familiar with employee self service. They apply leaves, attendance regularisation, view attendance etc through employee self service. I recently saw in the application that there is a screen called Income tax declarations under Payroll screen in ESS. Currently the access to it is disabled for all staffs in our company. Is there any option for employees to submit their income tax declarations online through ESS? The current procedure involves issuing a form at the financial year beginning to collect the probable declarations from employees. This is entered in Lenvica HRMS payroll software based on which TDS will be calculated and deducted. We further issue a second form on Jan or Feb of that financial year to get the actual declarations. Employee may add new declarations or remove declarations those were added earlier but are not relevanat anymore. We need employees to declare income tax sections online itself. If they submit the income tax declaration then it must be considered automatically for income tax calculation and it must reflect as TDS deduction in the payslip of employees!

Yes, employees can submit their income tax declarations online. It can be done through employee self service, the online portal of Lenvica HRMS payroll software which is accessible to all the employees.
The income tax declaration screen in ESS must be enabled for employees. In ESS rights, pick the employee group and enable the screen ‘Income Tax Declarations’ under the payroll screen.
