Hi,
We run a freight forwarding company in UAE. Nearly 200 trucks run services daily to forward freights in and out of the state. Lenvica HRMS payroll software is in use since 2014. Lenvica HRMS payroll software has served well our company. We process payroll, deliver payslips, generate bank transfer statements with cover letter etc through the payroll software itself. I have a question now regarding the compensations an employee is suppose to pay to the company for the damages incurred while on duty. The responsibility of trucks on run are fully on the driver and his assistant. Very less often, trucks meet with accidents or get tickets for traffic violations. Our team reviews the incident and any losses which are due to irresponsible or careless attitude of the driver in charge, such as drink & drive, fine for over speeding etc are recorded. If company had to pay fine or bear monetary losses in the process of settling the damages then it is recovered from the employee’s salary. Recovery of such damages vary on the basis of the amount an employee is liable to pay. If amount is small, then we recover it in lump sum in the next payroll or if amount is huge enough then we deduct it in instalments only. Can we manage this through Lenvica HRMS payroll software?

Yes, Lenvica HRMS payroll software lets its users to record the damages and to recover it from salary in lump sum or in instalments. ‘Damages and Recovery’ module is in Salary module. Select employee and enter the amount to be recovered. Define recovery mode, recovery cycle, interest rate if applicable etc. You can see a check box for an option to ‘Recover from Salary’, this will automatically deduct the instalment amount every month from the salary of the employee. Please review the page link below to learn more on ‘Damages and Recovery’ feature in Lenvica HRMS payroll software.
