Can this payroll software handle multiple Professional Tax slabs, state-wise?

Hi,

We run branches pan India. As the professional tax slab applicable to each branch of ours in different states are different, I would like to know if that can be configured in the software. It says on your website that centralized payroll processing can be done but if state-wise PT slabs cannot be applied to the payroll of each employee depending on the state in which works then how will it help?

Hello,

Yes, Lenvica HRMS time attendance and payroll software can process the payroll of employees based on different professional tax slabs. It will only apply the slab relevant to the employee, based on the state in which his branch is located.

Under Module -> Salary -> Professional Tax, the user can define the state-wise slabs of professional tax. There is an option inside each salary structure created in the software wherein the user can choose the applicable PT slab from the list of state-wise PT slabs. Choose the appropriate PT slab for each salary structure. E.g. choose Karnataka PT Slab for the salary structure of the branch in Bengaluru.
