1) Present duty pattern consist of 4 shifts, each shift overlaps with the next shift.

1st shift:  07:30am -14:30pm  date: 18th/April/2011
2nd shift  13:00pm- 20:00pm  date: 18th/April/2011
3rd shift    18:00pm-1:00am    date: 18th  – and 19th /April/2011
4th shift  12:30 -07:30          date: 19th /April/2011

We start to count the day from morning 7: 30 as shown above. A 24hrs shift duty for one category of staff( Nurses) overlaps between 2 days.
As shown above this duty is supposed to be their official duty for 18th April. From 3rd shift onwards the attendance system confuses the duty.
The system clock is set at 00:00 hours to switch the day.

About Report customization: As there are different leave types, eg: Maternity leave, casual leave, annual leave. However when we generate a report all the leaves appear on the report as, LEAVE. Instead we would like to customize the reports so that, all leave categories could be more specific on the report.
